Our fortnight in France is almost up and we’re very sad to be leaving.
Its been a lovely stay in a peaceful and scenic location. The villa is superb - so beautifully decorated and well equipped, a real home from home.
The swimming pool is an absolute delight and Keith’s golf clubs gave us an enjoyable afternoon at the Marmande practice range. Thank you for the welcome pack and all the useful items.
Enjoy the Yorkshire tea. Hope to come back soon.

Your previous visitors say it all with regard to the Villa. All we would say is we agree with every single comment. Big mistake only staying for a week - but had we booked for two I don’t think you would have ever got us out of the place.

We have stayed in many rental holiday homes before but never quite like this! Kids have never wanted for anything and are constantly occupied- thank goodness! Even given me the opportunity to watch Lord of the Rings trilogy!! It has been so hot, the pool has been in constant use as temperatures got up over 35 in the shade. One storm which was fab to watch and gave us all a respite from the sun! Not done too much exploring - Bergerac was lovely but had to abandon trip early as the pool beckoned! Duras market good on a Monday, Monseguer market on a Friday and if you want a hypermarket the one in La Roile will have all your needs.
Anyway enough of our waffling we have had a really relaxing time, read lots, swam lots, talked lots and played lots. Definitely 10/10 and the rest!

Elder daughter remarked, on arrival, “that of the countless holiday homes that we have stayed in over the the last 17 years, this was the only one that was far better than our home in England and was it absolutely necessary to ever go home!” It has been a splendid holiday. I can’t recall a time when we have enjoyed each other’s company as much and that is, in large part, a result of the space and comfort and the thoughtfulness and kindness of Elaine and Keith. The pool makes everything so easy.
It took me a while to recover from a night out with Keith so perhaps it is better that we are going home, but aside from that I can find absolutely no grounds for contesting Jenny’s (eldest daughter) first impressions.

We have had almost lovely stay, the weather has mostly been fantastic, a couple of storms but thats ok!
The villa is very well equipped and the pool is very, very nice. We came to ‘chill’ and we did big time. Rhys (9) really enjoyed his stay and wants to come back!
